Purpose

Instructions

1. Select a Clinical Issue: Identify a specific nursing practice, quality, or safety issue relevant to your current or future professional setting.
2. Formulate a PICOT Question: Develop a Population–Intervention–Comparison–Outcome–Time framework to guide your proposal.
3. Conduct a Literature Review: Summarize and critically appraise at least five recent (2018–2025) peer-reviewed studies directly related to your topic.
4. Develop an Evidence-Based Intervention: Propose a practical, research-informed nursing intervention addressing the identified problem.
5. Implementation Plan: Outline steps for introducing, monitoring, and evaluating the intervention in a real or simulated healthcare environment.
6. Ethical and Policy Considerations: Analyze ethical implications, professional standards, and organizational policies influencing implementation.
7. Evaluation Metrics: Identify measurable outcomes and evaluation strategies (e.g., patient satisfaction, clinical improvement, reduced readmission rates).
