\nAccording to the “Nursing Informatics: Scope and Standards of Practice” learning resource, there are several competencies that are relevant to nursing practice, including knowledge of informatics and healthcare technologies, ability to communicate and collaborate with others, ability to use data and information to support decision-making, and ability to ensure the privacy and security of health information.<\/p>\n
