Human Growth and Development focuses on human growth and development over the lifespan! This course is important because it gives the student a background in human growth and development from before birth, through childhood, into adulthood, and through death and grief. By the end of this course, students will walk away with a broad understanding of the processes and influences affecting the developing person. The focus is on biological, social, emotional, and intellectual aspects across the lifespan, and individual application is emphasized.<\/p>\n
Thus, to demonstrate your knowledge and understanding of the 9-week course content, you are being asked to create a \u201cposter\u201d or power point of your own individual growth and development. For full credit, your poster should include:<\/p>\n

\n\uf0fc\tWeight at time of birth (10 pts)
\n\uf0fc\tBonus points if you are able to accurately identify what type of labor and delivery that your mom experienced when you were born: natural child birth or C-section (+5 pts)
\n\uf0fc\tPictures of yourself or another person at the time of birth or as a newborn and describe two developmental milestones for this age. (10 pts)
\n\uf0fc\tPictures of yourself or another person during the span from 1 month- 11 months and describe two developmental milestones for this age. (10 pts)

\n\uf0fc\tPictures of yourself or another person from 3-5 years old and describe two developmental milestones for this age. (10 pts)
