Differential Diagnoses:
\n1. Fibrocystic changes of breast: Consistent with patient’s symptoms of cyclic breast pain and lumpy breast tissue bilaterally. Most likely diagnosis given patient’s age. (Smith, 2020)
\n2. Fibroadenoma of the breast: Solitary, mobile mass palpated on exam could represent a fibroadenoma. These are common benign breast tumors in women under 40. (Chen et al., 2019)
\n3. Breast cancer: Less likely given patient’s young age and lack of risk factors, but cannot be excluded without further evaluation. All palpable breast masses require imaging. (Theberge et al., 2018)<\/p>\n
