This assessment requires students to have a well-formed view of effective business communication, the importance and use of technology, and to apply their communication skills to deliver a compelling speech. In addition, this assessment requires students to develop competencies in video and audio presentation techniques.<br \/>\nInstructions<br \/>\nYou are required to prepare a 5-minute presentation identifying aspects of a specific type of exemplary business presentation such as sales pitches, progress reports, business proposals etc. (decided by facilitator). Write a page paper &#8211; Describe  the elements included in a successful delivery giving examples and practical recommendations.<br \/>\n\u2022 Face-to-face students should present their findings using 5-10 PowerPoint slides or Prezi.<br \/>\n\u2022 Online students may use visual aids in their video but should address the audience directly paying attention to audio quality, lighting quality, sincerity of presentation, clarity of your perspective, and overall impact.<br \/>\nPresentation Content:<br \/>\nIn the presentation, students are required to:<br \/>\n\u2022 Introduce themselves<br \/>\n\u2022 Write a page paper &#8211; Describe  aspects of a specific type of effective business presentation (decided by the facilitator)<br \/>\n\u2022 Give examples and practical recommendations on how to succeed in delivery<br \/>\n\u2022 Deliver their speech in a compelling manner with clarity, conciseness, and concreteness<br \/>\n\u2022 Develop a conclusion.<br \/>\n\u2022 Please include a reference list using APA 6th style on a separate page \u2022 Please use at least 4 in-text citations<br \/>\nPresentation Questions:<br \/>\nPresentations should address the following questions, along with any other relevant points:<br \/>\n\u2022 What does an exemplary business presentation look like?<br \/>\n\u2022 Which characteristics make it effective?<br \/>\n\u2022 How does the effectiveness of the presentation affect the outcome?<br \/>\n\u2022 How can the use of technology improve business communication?<br \/>\n\u2022 In a business environment, when would you likely use business presentation skills?<br \/>\n\u2022 What is the main conclusion(s) of your presentation?<br \/>\nStudents are expected to present their assessment to the class when directed to by the Learning Facilitator.
