Apply web knowledge to the development of mobile applications<br \/>\nULO 2. Design user interface for touch screen applications<br \/>\nULO 3. Build Software application for mobile use.<br \/>\nULO 4. Evaluate a mobile application with respect to usability and accessibility.<br \/>\nWeight 60%<br \/>\nTotal Marks 60<br \/>\nWord limit 1000<br \/>\nDue Date Week 10, Week 11 and Week 12<br \/>\nSubmission<br \/>\nGuidelines<br \/>\n\u2022 All work must be submitted on Moodle by the due date<br \/>\nalong with a completed Assignment Cover Page.<br \/>\n\u2022 Reference sources must be cited in the text of the report,<br \/>\nand listed appropriately at the end in a reference list using<br \/>\nAPA referencing style.<br \/>\nExtension \u2022 Extensions to assignment deadlines (not including<br \/>\nexams) based on mitigating circumstances shall be at the<br \/>\ndiscretion of the Lecturer for a unit. Mitigating<br \/>\ncircumstances are circumstances outside of the student&#8217;s<br \/>\ncontrol that have had an adverse effect on the student&#8217;s<br \/>\nwork or ability to work. Extensions of up to three days are<br \/>\npermissible.<br \/>\n\u2022 Students must email or otherwise write to the Lecturer<br \/>\nprior to the due date for an assessment item. The student<br \/>\nmust produce a copy of their work to date on the<br \/>\nassessment, demonstrating that they have commenced<br \/>\nwork.<br \/>\nAcademic<br \/>\nMisconduct<br \/>\n\u2022 Academic misconduct involves cheating, collusion,<br \/>\nplagiarism or any other conduct that deliberately or<br \/>\ninadvertently claims ownership of an idea or concept<br \/>\nwithout acknowledging the source of the information. This<br \/>\nincludes any form of activity that negates the academic<br \/>\nintegrity of the student or another student and\/or their<br \/>\nwork. Please refer 2.6 Academic misconduct \u2013 plagiarism,<br \/>\ncollusion and cheating for further details.<br \/>\nAssignment Description (Total marks 20+20+20 =60)<br \/>\nTest Duration: Week 10, Week 11, Week 12<br \/>\nIn this assessment group of 5 students will develop Android Application. In week 5 onwards<br \/>\nstudents will submit specifications of application in one page giving brief introduction of<br \/>\nApplication. In week 11, students will submit the prototype and in week 12 they will give<br \/>\nPPT presentation of their project in the classroom.<br \/>\nRATIONALE<br \/>\nThis assessment task will assess the following learning outcome\/s:<br \/>\nULO 1. Apply web knowledge to the development of mobile applications<br \/>\nULO 2. Design user interface for touch screen applications<br \/>\nULO 3. Build Software application for mobile use.<br \/>\nULO 4. Evaluate a mobile application with respect to usability and accessibility.<br \/>\nREQUIREMENTS:<br \/>\nPlease make sure you have the following:<br \/>\n1. The complete source code of your android app (i.e., the android studio project).<br \/>\n2. The final version of your .apk file.<br \/>\n3. Write up the process of implementing this design in a word file.<br \/>\nSUBMISSION:<br \/>\nYou will need to submit all documentation outlined in the requirements for this<br \/>\nassessment listed above \u2013 including the word file if you choose to provide this, on or<br \/>\nbefore the deadline. In week 5, you will submit a one-page document that provides a brief introduction to your application and the team members involved. In week 11, you will submit a prototype of your application.
